It's hitting us in the medical center area right now, real heavy rain...huge ass rain drops, lots of thunder as well.

What I want to know is why my (apparently defective) Pedernales Electric Co-Op gimme rain gauge says I got 1.2 inches of rain yesterday and last night, but everything that will hold water on my property has exactly 3 inches of water in it?

I haven't gotten up to see if it is indeed raining at my office I hear thunder though...but it never fails to start pouring between 6 and 7 when I plan to drive home.
