F'n Scola debacle. Dude plays his ass off. He plays with a lot of heart and would have been a great addition to our team. Whatever bug the FO had up their collective asses to get rid of him was about as big a blunder as I've ever seen.
He's not an All-Star, he's not especially gifted but he gives you 100% effort and plays fearless. What a royal, royal F-up. I've moved on and don't give a crap about him so long as he is on another team but this message is more about the front office than anything else.
What on Earth possessed them to be so arrogant as to just give this guy away ? As for Spanoulis, that is one mopey, dejected dude.
Scola thread!!!!!!!
Dude, leave the pics of your mom off of here. I'll say what the I want to say.
C'mon Manny, you forgot to put that little gay emoticon rolling his eyes at the end of your message....What did I say ? What did I say ? I said the message was about the FO office ing up. I'm a Spurs fan, I don't give a crap about guys that don't play for us..Regardless of the compliments to Scola, THE MESSAGE IS ABOUT THE FRONT OFFICE ing up.
I'll post pics of my mom wherever I want! I'll post what the I want to post
@ your tantrum
Don't talk back to me.

It's just hard to swallow. he would have been playing with 2 of his Argentinian teammates and along side Tim Duncan. It would have been rape.
I can't ing believe we traded Sean Elliott! And for what? Dennis ing Rodman! Fat lot of good he did us. Let's trade an All Star SF for a headcase thug who does nothing but rebound. And by "rebound" I mean "leave Robert Horry wide ing open". Somebody needs to find the shoes The Worm took off on the bench and shove them up the ass of whatever GM pulled the trigger on that deal.
Arrogance and complacency, not a good combo.
Time will tell if this blunder represents a turning point of the Duncan era. A huge mistake.
So the icon of beating the dead horse still applies then.
Psssh. Can you believe that the Spurs let Larry Kenon go to the Bulls and only got back two 2nd round picks!!! F'ing cheap a$$ Spurs! This franchise just doesn't get it; things have never been the same since that boondogle.
Luxury tax.
You guys will never understand it.
Pay it off over a couple years and DO GOOD in the meantime. !
You gots to pay to play.
They did DO GOOD in the meantime.
And they have paid.
Hey man, I've been sticking up for the Front Office for a while. I'm en led to vent every now and then. You got me on the Beating a Dead Horse thing regarding the recent blunders.
Scola is ing good. He is legit. I don't really care what any Spurs fans say in defense for the FO of the Scola trade. Spurs done ed up and traded a great player.
I'm still in shock that we let Maurice Cheeks go for Rod Strickland..Franchise Killa. See, I can play too...Derrrr
Couldn't the Spurs have signed Scola for what they eventually ended up paying Bonner?
Scola is so overated, hes a energy guy with little offensive moves and is an average shooter. Cant play center and we already have the best PF ever to play and a young athletic pf in the wings. He wanted a long term deal and as we all know unless the spurs can sign Jesus, they wont cut into that 2010 cap money!
Even if it means giving up a good bench guy in the short run. Dont forget Spanolis or what ever we got for him is not a bad player and said he wants to sign with spurs when his Euro contract expires. He would make a good combo guy. But the bottom line is no one wanted him, we got for him to stay out of the LTax.
Then they still would have had to pay the tax.
