No. He's been absolutely huge for Spain in this Gold Medal match. Easily the best C in the Olympics.
Yeah it's really tough to hit wide open jumpers when Bosh flops, and dunk alley-oops over Deron Williams.
Rudy Fernandez and Navarro deserve all the props in the world. If they didn't get such a pussy effort from Pau they might have won.

^No. Stop hating. Gasol was good today, Spain just wasn't good enough.
Fernandez was good. Navarro was good. Their leader didn't deliver when he had to.
I guess if Deron Williams was guarding him all game he would have been able to do more.
and 50% shooting is nothing impressive when the team shot better than that. His shooting lowered their percentage.

mono I don't know what you're trying to accomplish other than rile Lakers fans up. Pau is a little soft, but definitely not the softest player ever. And he had a great game today, USA was just the better team.

Just because a bucket is easy doesn't mean it should be discredited. He deserves credit for positioning himself for those alley oops. Also he made the wide open jumper when Bosh got steamrolled by Marc and a nice hook over Dwight Howard. He thoroughly outplayed the USA frontline today, but the perimeter shooting of USA was too good, too clutch.
