All praise the The Lord, The Messiah and the new MLK. All hail!

Of course The Messiah is supporting Biden for President, according to his speech
yesterday and Biden refers to The Messiah as Barack America.

And some want to talk about McCain cant remember........

Hey Clam, you hungry. Get some of those food stamps.

There a difference between misspeaking and not being able to answer a question.

Misspeaking is what McCain said he did when Lieberman reminded him that Iran and Al Qaeda are not working together, after he had asserted that during his explanation of why Iran is a threat.

Not being able to answer is what happened during the house question.

Oh, Clam, did I offend you. Tough, live with it. My feelings don't matter anyway. So why express them. I like the old program where they gave them the food they needed to sustain themselves. Like every other government program it drove food prices up.
Food stamps are a part of life now, so I don't really worry about them.
So go get some for yourself if you are hungry or get a job.

I think they should get their lazy butts off the ground and work. A second job if necessary. There are plenty of jobs out there. So many, we let people come here and work them illegally!

Dude, wtf, my parents were on food stamps when I was a kid and they were finishing up their degrees. It must be nice to live such a sheltered life that you don't have to worry about such things. Unfortunately, that's not the case for all people.

I've busted my ass to have what I do have today and I am sick and tired of paying for other peoples mistakes.

Years ago, it was common knowledge to the general public that you do not start a family until you can afford one. Your parents must be a product of liberal mentality that says the government will take care of you. Well guess what. That transfer of wealth comes from people like me and I'm not happy with that legalized theft.

There are cases when people do need a hand up. Situations arise where people do not put themselves into hard times. The social welfare system is simply out of control. Not many people who use these government handouts were responsible people. You know more of your situation than I do of course, but why did they make such choices? Did they want to live poor?

My life was not sheltered. I grew up learning about life and responsibility growing up poor. I do know what food stamps are. My mother used to get them after my parents divorced, as I was growing up. However, when I did have a family structure. My parents did not utilize any government programs. We just did without many things that other people had.

Yes. I blame my father for the affair and divorce if you must know. I watched my mother bust her ass to make money. Really, I do know what it's like to do without. I got my first real job at 15 to help make ends meet.

Sheltered life. You haven't a clue. I wonder what type of work ethics that people have who are not ashamed of receiving government aide?

Aside from your point a little bit what pisses me off is these broke ass families having babies on purpose and not working on purpose to receive government money and food stamps.

Did you tell your mother to get her lazy ass to work and take a second job if necessary? I'm sure there were jobs out there. So many, people were coming here and working illegally.

Did you tell your father that other people were tired of paying for his mistakes?

I would hope that you didn't because I am sure that they are/were decent people who found themselves in a situation they didn't want.

I don't fault you or your family for seeking assistance when you needed it. That's why we have such programs in place. I do find you, however, to be hypocrite for your at ude. How can you assume that others out there aren't in the exact same situation your mother found herself in? And how can you argue that we shouldn't lend a hand to help those people?

I've also worked hard to get what I have. I went to school and had very little money while others I knew got jobs and bought new Mustangs, clothes, etc. I took out student loans to pay for an undergrad and post-graduate education. I didn't get to start a career until my late twenties because of the education I wanted to get.

However, unlike you, I do recognize that I wouldn't have the things I have attained without help from others. Like I said, my parents received government assistance when I was young, mainly in the form of food stamps. I was also fortunate in that I was able to attend a preschool program because my parents qualified through government assistance. As a consequence, I was already ahead in my education by the time I started kindergarten.

The primary and secondary schools I attended were public schools and I got a good education. I went to a public university for my undergraduate degree and took out government-subsidized-student loans to pay for books and living expenses. I went to a private school for a post-graduate degree and had to take out even more student loans to afford that education.

After all of that, I don't mind giving some of what I have earned back to society. I don't mind seeing my money go to people like your mother or my parents. I don't mind giving a hand to someone who needs it and I sure as don't look down on them for seeking that help. I wouldn't be where I am if these government programs were not in place and I am not ashamed to admit that.

Yeah, that did sound kind of weird! What I meant was compared to McCain, he looks so much better and the public is big on looks.

It is similar to the Nixon/Kennedy debates. Nixon had no chance against a better looking TV-friendly face like Kennedy.

at what point did you learn to be prejudice? before or after my taxes fed you? or do you just hate the people that remind you of you?
However, when I did have a family structure.
    what?
My parents did not utilize any government programs. We just did without many things that other people had.
are food stamps a govt.......never mind.

    I've heard this very call.
Why is any reference to some people they don't understand considered a racist remark? By doing so, could you be admitting blacks are not as intelligent as whites, therefore it's racist? Dav used it all in a correct nonracist form.

Why u gotta be a dumfuk??? Cyanide doesn't taste good in them, and the alcohol isn't appropriate for the children!

The Jim Jones and Kool-Aid remark is appropriate. That mass suicide is where the term "Kool-Aid Drinker" comes from. A willing participant blindly following some authoritative figure. His followers willingly drank 'flavor aide' laced with cyanide. Kool-aid stuck rather than the grape flavor aide however.

I gladly pay my taxes and don't have any problems with it. The more I make the more I pay. Simple as that. I have no issues and I get tired of hearing the "I'm paying for it with my tax dollars, blah, blah, blah.." Taxes pay for the Iraq war too and while I disgree with the war I'll gladly pay to keep our troops safe.
Whining from the conservatives is just as bad.

Tired of paying taxes now? Just wait because our record deficit spending under our great and glorious president ensures more taxes in our future. Now is what it looks like when we get more than our money's worth. I hope I'm deaf before I hear you tax whiners in the future.
