He is a slick monster with great ground game. Very fast and can adjust to many situations.
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua recently sat down with Tatame.com and discussed a potential fight with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at the UFC's December PPV currently scheduled for Dec. 27 in Las Vegas, Nevada:
"I'm back to training. I'm doing some Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu stuff, and thank God everything is fine now. I'll be back in December… They said that I might fight with Quinton Jackson, but nothing has been signed yet. They (UFC) called me ad offered a fight with him and I accepted, but they didn't say anything else more"
"(Rampage's recent mental health problems) surely can be a problem, but I want him back in December and against me, and I believe he can be back.

I don't like that fight at all.
He needs to fight a young up and comer...see where those knees are at. This is a good fight in May after Shogun has had a relative warm up.

I think the match ups are far better. But they still have time to add to it. So yeah who knows.
Who knows....I was certain he was due for s om but his last few fights in the IFL were unimpressive at the least but I believe the IFL burned out many of their fighters. I'm looking forward to see what he does. He is an excellent signing by Affliction.

I hate Shamrock but i am begging for him to Beat Kimbo. He has no ground game whatsoever, Ken could probably submit him if he gets it down. However he won't be able too. Ken is as shot a fighter as could be anymore. Kimbo will likely KO him. I agree, "Who gives a about this fight" How do you even sell it?? So if Kimbo wins, he beat a old man, ex-ufc legend who is 1-7 in his last 8 fights. If he loses he is a bum, not legit. I think Kimbo showed the world he is not legit in his last fight but they will desperately try and sell him as the real deal still. It is funny how when he was getting beat down in his last fight the broadcasters were saying "Will the legend die in this fight" Legend?? What does that mean? Some guy who used to fight bums and hobo's on the streets and it got broadcast on youtube is a legend, Uhhh okay
People wanted to see Rogers Vs Kimbo and Cyborg vs Gina….so what do they give us? Neither. On their most important show.
