No that was a good shot, because it went in. He jacked up 2 other 3's that were much worse during the fourth, one of them that was wayy to deep.
That being said, I would rather have Kobe shooting three's in the fourth than anyone else on that team. Props.

Yeah that's a pretty stupid statement. Just because it went in doesn't mean he should have taken it. His earlier 3's that missed were better shots because he had an open look. The 3 he made, Rudy was right in his face but he took it anyways. It was a terrible shot to take, he was just lucky he made it.

The fact is, most of Kobe's threes are stupid shot selections that only he can get away with, because he makes them. You can see him eyeing the 3 pointer all the time, but defenders have to give him that space because if they play up on him he will just choose to blow right by you. That 4 pointer was actually a good shot selection because Fernandez was far enough away that his attempt to block the shot was wild and ended up being a foul. So suck it.
