L'équipe de France a gagné son troisième match d'affilée, une large victoire face à la Georgie (90-69) lors de la première journée du tournoi de Riga, et elle a incoporé Yakhouba Diawara et Tony Parker, autorisés à revêtir le maillot tricolore. Les premiers chiffres donnés laissent à penser que les deux joueurs NBA sont en forme.
