Oh, and they took my business card holder and left it down the road... some jogger found it and is going to get it back to me tomorrow morning. I hope they left the cards I needed alone... I can replace mine ( , I think I have 400 left), but the ones I kept in there are the ones I really needed to keep.

After that he whistled for a cab and when it came near

A couple years back, my car was broken into in front of my house and they stole my stereo and subs, a school bag with my SLR camera and an mp3 player, and my bowling equipment (4 balls, bag, and shoes) that was in my trunk.

The worst part was that the bowling equipment was the same equipment I had virtually grown to bowl with and won all of my tournaments with, so it was pretty irreplaceable. I got another ball and pair of shoes, but I've never quite felt the same with 'em since.

My one stroke of good luck: this happened about 2 days before my final project for Photography was due, which I had been working on for weeks. Fortunately, the jackass who broke into my car was NICE ENOUGH to dump all of my school work out of my bag, presumably to stuff all of my stolen loot into it. So he got away with the bag, but all of my photos and schoolwork was just laying inside the car. Saved me from failing Photography and ultimately from not getting my degree on time, but it's still hard to quite call that 'good luck'

Any way, the moral of the story is these jackasses deserve to pushed into a swimming pool full of razor blades.
