I'm sure more than that email would be needed to prove any impropriety. It's interesting to note the the information released through the FOIA case was a fraction of what Judicial Watch asked for.

True, one would think US companies would be gobbling up every available lease everywhere -- but they aren't. I heard a foreign company got one of the new leases for drilling off the Louisiana coast. I'm not sure why they would let that one go after demanding for more leases.
