Good question. The hotel where I work, we leave the doors with "do not disturb" alone.
What I would like to know is why people don't think they have to observe check-in and check out times?
...have checkout times and put "Do Not Disturb" hangers on doors if the FREAKING housekeeping staff is going to knock on your GODDAMN door every half hour starting at 9 am?

What Hotel, I don't have that problem.
AlamoSpursFan stays at hotels where the plastic sheets must be hosed off by 12 or they will not dry in time for the 5pm hookers to get started.
So you stay at the Super 8 in Anthony TX?
Cause they wanna hurry up and put the black light on your sheets to see what you've been cooking up special all night.
