Maybe you need to do the same before you start declaring the Rockets the best anywhere. When have Tracy and Yao managed to stay healthy for a whole season? ...its been since 2004 that Yao has managed more than 57 games. Isn't he supposed to be in his prime at 27 and not injury plagued?

You're an idiot for posting this poll in this section of all places. What'd you honestly expect? The Rockets to win? Posting all of these photos (especially the western one) doesn't help (although i do like the first Artest one).

OK smart guy lets look at Rockets track record, with all the so called injuries and bad backs and yao not even playing the entire season it amazes me how they continue to manage 50 WIN seasons. What that says about the league? a man playing with a bunch of rookies a old ass center with a bad back can get you 55 wins in a compe ive west.

because i knew it would cause somekind of reaction. why do ppl always debate houston championships, or kobe vs jordan, or which team is better dream team vs redeem team. It will always cause controversy and its debatable
The reason we lost to the lakers was becasue they were tired and injured. Playing long post season does that to you. It eventually catches up with a team. However I think most fans knows that the Spurs will definitly contend for another championship this year. they have the experience to go all the way because they have before. The rockets are the ones who haven't proved anything. Until they actually do something its going to be hard to find someone who believes in them other than a rockets fan.

Houston gets picked high every year in pre-season , and SA doesn't. Maybe that will explain the contempt that the average Spurs fan has for the national media.

Of the people on this board who respect the Spurs, probably only half are Spurs fans. The other half are knowledgeable fans of other teams who really know basketball. I am obviously a Spurs fan..but I honestly say "in paper" Rockets looks really good. Artest will increase defending ability along with Battier, and Scola looks really sharp in Olympics which is a bad sign. Only thing I can hope is Artest start another drama and messed up team chemistry. As the other team in Texas triangle I dont think it will be a big problem for us. Mavs is a loser, they got knocked out two times in 1st round, including biggest upset in NBA history. If Rockets chemistry is good, then West will get more tougher than it already is...
lol whats up with the name calling??? people can never debate or post without name calling. Rockets spoiled Lakers home opener last year with a battier dagger 3 and also made history on lakers by winning our 22nd in a row on. Like shaq said "kobe tell me how my ass taste" lol
