History will repeat itself!!!!!!!!!!
agreed. 1st and out for Houston again.
, Rocket fan is still running 95 smack in 2008?
Wait till you see how he locks down your offense.
Really? What evidence you have to support the theory that they won't be hurt again? I don't have to pray about anything...history speaks loud and clear that the percentages weigh much heavier towards Yao or TBack or both getting hurt at some point during the season.
I am much more worried about teams like the Lakers and Boston who, like us, have actually accomplished something recently.
lmao that was actually funny a funny, im dying laughing esp at chuck hayes freethrows lmao![]()
We will see. Just keep hoping the rox get hurt, that's your only hope for your fake-show.
You still sound insecure to me.
benefactor: "The rox will get hurt eventually", blah, blah, ing, blah, blah.
If you were a man, you would hope the rox were FULL strength, that way there would be NO excuses. Win or go home. You sound like a scared little girl.

come on, don't act all butt hurt.
That was a good clip.
good times, good times.
We'll see
now let me go bask in some championships i won 20 years ago.
whatever floats your boat, I don't hate you. Afterall, if it were not for this site, the offseason will go at a snails pace.
I can't wait for the lakers and rox first game--gonna be a good one![]()
Spurs until proven otherwise.
And you still sound like the fan of a team that has actually done something meaningful.
Roxsfan: "Look we have a proven team now that we have added Artest. We might actually accomplish something before 2 decades pass...blah, blah."
While we have been busy hanging banners from our ceiling you have been busy either A. Swimming in mediocrity or B. Choking away the playoffs. What makes you think you deserve any respect from anyone? My team and my three superstars are proven and yours have been the ass end of jokes for years now.
Honestly, I do hope we meet full strength in the playoffs...but that is a long way away and just like us you have many obstacles to overcome. The fact is that you have thrown your chips in on a player that has been a problem on every team he has played on. They were talking championship in Indiana too...then there was the brawl...which he still thinks he was justified in doing. The fact is that Yao is supposed to be in his prime, but has been unable to get within 25 games of finishing a season in the past 3 years.
These are facts...I'm not making them up...and you can use the word "insecure" all you want to describe me or any other Spurs fan. But if you think for one minute that you don't have just as many worries or possibly even more than we do, then there is only one word to describe you....denial.
Injuries are overrated. I clearly remember odom having nagging injuries i also remember gasol being injured while being traded to lakers. I also remember pierces nagging injuries that cost him to miss significant time last yr, also allen had to have surgery. SO WHAT!!!! those teams still made it to the finals.
if injuries are overrated, why do you guys always get eliminated in the first round then?
Yalls argument is rockets will eventually get injured, well spurs dont have to wait till the season starts. Manu will begin the season injured missing almost 2 months of the regular season. Currently rockets are healthy, Yao had his foot surgically repaired and tracy had surgery on his knee. Rockets can limit the starter mins to help prevent injuries, spurs dont have that luxary.
Its called being overmatched!!!!In the regular season rockets role players are playing at their max, in the playoffs you must be able to kick it in to another gear. Rockets had no extra gear. While teams were playing on that other level rockets were playing their best basketball during the reg season.
Lets not act like Rockets just laid down. Rockets without Yao and without rafer they were in every game with jazz, they made it a tough series for jazz. If anything jazz should of swept us. Rockets went into a hostle environment in utah and got a game to extend the series to 6.
The Rockets have never looked this good on paper, at least not in the Yao/T-Mac era. None of those past teams had a 3rd option, and half didn't have a bench.
And that's not to say Houston is the favorite, but to say they look good on paper similar to past years is not a valid comparison really.
