Earlier this morning I read somewhere about the bulls wanting to trade Gordon AND Nocioni. Now i know this is far fetched, but would you guys be willing to do this if the Spurs/Bulls were?

    Gordon/Nocino for Manu/filler

Now, i know we're losing Manu, but this looks pretty sweet..

    Parker
    Gordon
    Nocioni
    Duncan
    Thomas

That is a pretty good trade in my opinion but I do not think it's possible due to salary.

Manu's one of the cheapest stars around at only $10 million.

Ben Gordon wants a MINIMUM of $9 million
    Nocioni already makes $8 million

So that's $7 million worth of junk salaries that the Chicago Bulls have to take, I think that's a bit too much for Bulls to consider.

Nope. Not a bad haul for Manu, but I would rather have a healthy Manu than that. 1 great player is better than 2 good players imo. Especially when it comes to winning rings. Plus, there would have to be a slew of players to make salaries match.

Almost impossible from a salary perspective...but it is intriguing no the less.

Even if it was possible, you have to wonder if they would be near as loyal as Manu is. There is no equal trade value for that.

Why do the Bulls want to move Nocioni ? And no, I wouldn't do that deal. Neither as a coach or a gm.

Ben Gordon turned down at 6 year/$59 million deal from the Bulls, reportedly. He supposedly wants $11M starting salary now.

Kori, do you think he'll take the CSKA offer?

Gordon WILL go overseas or just play unhappy here. I don't want him on the Spurs. Just watch him play a total of 5 NBA minutes. You can almost BET on the fact that he's gonna shoot the second he gets his hands on the ball. It's all too un-Spur-like. I'd hate it...even as a 7th or 8th man. Nocioni? Maybe...for Manu? No, but if there were some crystal ball we could look into to say he couldn't come back 100%.

But there's not. He'll be back. And rest-o-the-league be damned if he does.
