That's right, which is why I think it's ridiculous that people criticize Obama for not picking Hillary as his VP. I don't think she wanted it because if she had gotten it she would have practically zero chance of becoming president (unless something happened to him). Her only real shot at getting into the WH is a McCain victory in November.
She did what she needed to do to remain in good standing with the party, but I'm not expecting her and Bill to do much, if anything, beyond that to help Obama get elected.
She'd have taken the VP if offered...of course she would have.
