Currently - Stone IPA, Racer 5 IPA, Green Flash Imperial IPA. Standby of Sierra Pale at $20 a case at Sams Club.
1. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - Nice and sweet at the beginning with a great hoppy finish at the end. Far and away my #1.
2. Sierra Nevada Stout - A lot like Guinness Extra Stout with great chocolate flavors (especially in the head), with a bit less dry a finish than the Extra Stout. Just a little better than Extra Stout IMO.
3. Paulaner Hefeweizen - Nice clean wheat flavor with unmistakable shades of banana. BTW, that pic really doesn't look like it in the glass. The beer is way cloudier than that (as a lot of wheat beers are).
What do y'all like and recommend?

I'll have to check Stone out as I haven't found an IPA that I really like yet, but I haven't tried a lot either. Thanks for the recommendation.
I'm not a beer drinker (can't stand it, actually), but I've got a friend who drinks IPA almost exclusively and is in love with Lagunitas IPA and Mad River Steelhead Double IPA. They're both Northern California breweries, so I don't know about their availability elsewhere, but both come highly recommended.
I don't think I'd be into the double IPAs so much: a bit too bitter for me. I'll give the Langunitas a try though if I see it.
1) Maredsous 8 Dubbel -- The most dominant beer of all time. Amazing taste. 8%.
2) Chimay Blue Grande Reserve -- 10% luscious volano of flavor
3) Undecided.
I'm no snob. And I won't lie about the beers I like to impress anyone. -I prefer not to even know anyone here. Most will act pretentious because they can google and act like they know the difference. Been drinking and evaluating the qualities of beer for a long time, and it's like the OTHER finer things in life: you should enjoy them whenever/wherever/& for WHATever you want.
I have a select few beers that still have the taste I like (I've moved to other things since)
Michelob Light-best & smoothest light beer I've ever tasted
Sam Adams-best dark lager
Ziegenbock-best bock (shocking it's from Austin)
Tecate (dressed...which doesn't even make sense)-My Mexican Beer
Coors Light-good tubing beer
BEST 40? O'de E foo!!!!! lol
chimay
lucifer
sam adams cherry wheat...
one is a great drank, frothy so pour slow...real slow
two is a nice Belgian try it with a twist
first two are 8% i think so...go ....slo...w.........
last is a nice change, sweet smell, take time to enjoy the nose, smooth from start to finish. i found it nice with any dish.

Also, Bud=Garbage. Additionally, all light beer is a waste. If I so much as look at light beer I have to piss.
yeah, some might act cynical towards this thread...i hope they find better things worth their effort.
anyway, tough to say. i have a top 3 for everyday drinking and a top 3 that either a) i don't normally want to pay for or b) i can't always get
anytime
1) Pilsner Urquell
2) Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
3) Negra Modelo
(4) Big Sky Brewery, Kettle house Brewery, and Bayern Brewery
sometimes
1) King William Ale...(Blue Star Brewery)...OK, OK, maybe a bit biased since thats where i was born and raised
2) Stone IPA...you know, for that matter Stone Brewing Company is just awesome
3) Young's Double Chocolate Stout
1. La Trappe
2. Jupiler

MILLER LITE (see KSAT thread)
Shiner Black
Newcastle
Hmmmm... just off the top of my head at this exact moment:
Rodenbach Grand Cru
AleSmith Speedway Stout
Allagash Musette
Also, I feel almost required to point out to MrChug that Ziegenbock is not from Austin. It's made by Anheuser-Busch exclusively for the Texas market, as A-B's response to the popularity of Shiner Bock. But I do agree with you MrChug, you should drink and enjoy what you like.
1. Belhaven Wee Heavy
2. Indio
3. Guinness
Lagunitas has a lot of really good beers. Their IPA is a tad on the sweeter side. I drink all their seasonals - right now i've seen their new dogtown pale, which is really good, and they also have a 22 oz out there with a frank zappa album cover as the label - We're Only in it for the Money. Their Lucky 13 was also great.

Perhaps its the temptation of the fruit that's not readily available, but Yuengling's Traditional Lager is among my favorites
I tried being a beer snob but it took too much work. So I just gave up completely and stick with Keystone.
1. Rogue Dead guy ale
2. St. Pauli Girl Special Dark
