So far, Romney was OK. I really thought he'd be better.

Huckabee is doing a good job. He's a little better at speaking to the average voter.

Huckabee's joke about Palin getting more votes in Wasilla than Biden got for president completely flew over Olbermann's head.

It's a joke Keith. You don't have to disprove everything in the speech.

It was a dumb joke lol. Huckabee sets the joke up with I'm sick of hearing how Palin doesn't have experience. What does getting votes have to do with experience?

As an American I can't help but get into the moment and although I disagree with the republican platform they do know how to push patriotism which was also very powerful during Obama's nomination acceptance speech.
But you can clearly see the difference the vast difference between the diversity of the people at each convention.

It's funny because in Romney and Huckabee speeches, there were long stretches were it sounded as if they were actually advocating for Obama.

Romney was talking about the country's need for tax cuts, affordable health care and improved educational opportunities. , those are the main issues of the Obama campaign. What major health care initiatives is McCain planning? What major education initiatives?

Friends, after 9/11, I knew McCain should be president. On 9/11, Palin was in Alaska preparing to be Vice-President. Obama doesn't believe in 9/11. Thank you and God Bless 9/11!

It's a good rah-rah speech. You can't get too wonky in these types of speeches. Most people don't want to listen to your ten-point plan in these types of environments.

You had to know that Rudy would give this kind of speech. This is his thing. He's good at parroting talking points and generating call-in show fodder. He's not doing a bad job at it though.

Is this the Olmpics? Is Phelps swimming? Are the Democratics against the USA? I'm confused on the chants.
