I keep forgetting that he is running again. I don't think that he will do that much damage to Dem's this time around though...

Well you know it won't take much. As it stands today, Supreme Court intact, the election is ripe for the stealing, a la 2000.

maybe palin isn't ashamed of what she believes
I'm not asking her to be ashamed. I'm saying she's bat crazy if she truly believes God's will is the war in Iraq.
if youre an obamicon you have no ground to question anyone's arrogance.
    Why not?

you might well be, but don't full anyone that you have a bias towards liberal ideology.

    You're definately not a barometer.
What is "liberal ideology?" What does that mean? I definitely think Obama is the lesser of two evils. You don't know anything else about me.

I see you've been spending a significant amount of time with Mary Jane.
Yep, that is certainly better for you than dulling your senses with alcohol.

    here's an eye rolling exerpt:

Barack Obama’s new campaign plane is nothing short of grand. Well, for the candidate that is.

Obama’s section of the plane rivals that of any first class. Recently the front cabin of the Boeing 757 was retrofitted to install four individual chairs that resemble La-Z-Boys. They are free-standing and made of plush leather with pockets on the sides. There is also a booth which seats four for a meeting or a meal.

His chair has his name and campaign logo embroidered on the back top -- “Obama ‘08” on one line and “President” underneath.

Haha. Dude, I'm not saying he's not arrogant. You almost have to be to think you can run the country.

But that's not going to stop me, and shouldn't stop you, from questioning Sarah Palin's righteousness. Especially when she sounds so absurd and fanatical. There are another group of extremists that justify war with religion. And I'm pretty sure they flew a couple of planes into the WTC.

After holding out making my choice I have made a decision. I was a Clinton supporter who was never 'wowed' by Obama. After she lost I was left with a choice between Republican light and far left Demo. Since the primaries ended I have leaned towards John McCain because I do think he is a man of the higest integrity and honor. I have never viewed him as a hard right lunatic and did not feel that he would try and appease 15% of the population (untlra conservatives) like Bush and Cheney did.

I like Obama alot however I did not feel he had the necessary experience right now to lead this country. I felt he would be great in 8 yrs (after a Clinton/Obama) but he was not the right choice in the present.

With all of that being said I have chosen to vote for Obama because when, not if, John Mccain becomes incapacitated I do not want palin anywhere near the White House. Anyone who thinks we went into Iraq to do God's work is not fit to lead this country. Her speech last night, while funny, was petty and unbecoming of a VP candidate. Like clockwork the conservatives lapped up her speech because she attacked liberals.

Nice job John but you lost me.

    That is all.
That is some funny that only you believe!

Cool. I'll be voting for Palin in a couple months in hopes your scenario comes true.
This is the fascinating thing. The GOP rabid base now thinks Palin is running for President.

embroidering "President" on your seat aboard the O Force One? i don't think bling needs to be in any governing properties.

But that's not going to stop me, and shouldn't stop you, from questioning Sarah Palin's righteousness. Especially when she sounds so absurd and fanatical.
so what's your take on using a greek temple and moving to another stadium to hold a speech. i find that fanatical.

There are another group of extremists that justify war with religion. And I'm pretty sure they flew a couple of planes into the WTC.
i've posted that all causes have their extremists. i didn't hate white people after tim mcveigh exploded onto the scene. extremists should be discounted on all levels.

I was undecided, as well, but only because I hadn't seen all the candidates (I include third parties). Once the Green Party decided their candidate my decision was made for me.

I'm not voting. Even the minor parties can't provide a decent candidate.

The embroidering was a bad idea.

Invesco field looked nothing like a greek temple. And if any politician could pull 84,000 people to listen to a speech, they would do it in a heartbeat. I think especially given the historic implications of his nomination, moving to a stadium so that as many people could participate as possible was fitting.

i've posted that all causes have their extremists. i didn't hate white people after tim mcveigh exploded onto the scene. extremists should be discounted on all levels.

Yeah, but would you vote an extremist into the vice presidency, with the very real chance that she could become president?

Guys, we're missing something very important here.

Tonight will be interesting. John McCain is actually the one running for President, not Sarah Palin. But the way the right is pumped up right now, you can tell they want her at the top of the ticket.

Tonight we see a sad old man take the stage, who is not a great speaker. He will pale in comparison.

A lot of moderates like McCain because he's the 'maverick' and he used to be moderate in several positions.

But is he getting eclipsed? Does he have close to the strength of personality to stand up to her?

The base will love it - she's what they want. But everyone else? It's an interesting bit of judo, catapulting her to the front of the ticket. She certainly wants it. She covers McCain's charisma gap. But how does that play in the end?

That's a long way away and only one VP debate. There's a lot of time beforehand.

That said, I think the GOP can gin it up with the media to make her seem okay in the debate.

all that including a podium that lifted from the ground when he approached it.

Gawd yea! And it's just because she's the new kid in town, no one really knows her, she can pretty much be whatever she wants. Everybody already knows Biden. And not everyone has forgotten how condescending he came across in the ClarenceThomas/ Anita Hill scandal. I think many people will be waiting with baited breath for him to be the same way with Palin. He's got to be real careful.
