Once Palin ed the bridge project, the money wasn’t available to Minnesota or other states, however. Congress, chastened by criticism of the Alaska funding, had removed the earmark but allowed the state to keep the money and direct it to other transportation projects.

So she still likes sucking that federal teat. Think about that.
Where does it say she had any part in that decision making as to if the Alsakan Department of Transportaion kept the money or not?

    That was congress' decision!

Yes. I pulled those previous numbers out my ass. I said I didn't recall them. Are you daft?

The illistration that the state of Oregon had to spend more of it's own money was accurate for that bridge project to get federal funding. I'll bet the same applied to the Bridge to Nowhere also. It was originally slated as state project only with no federal funding. That is when she was for it.

I'll give you this much. When the members of congress from Alaska decided to get earmarks, maybe she didn't know at the time how much money was involved unitil red flags were going up. She did do the right thing. To say with certainty she was pressured otherwise just doesn't fit her established record.

She can't use her bast executive powers to give it back?

You are daft because you proudly make up.

She did the right thing when it came to running for national office, I agree.

Her record of accepting and using earmark money is pretty extensive. Unless she gave the bridge money back, that example is no different.
