heineken and corona have to be the most overrated beers ever
as for me:
pilsner urquell
dos equis
tie between fat tire/shiner and sierra nevada
honorable mentions: becks, zeigen bock, new castle
i don't think they sell Amstel anywhere in the US. It's all Amstel Light here. My brother said it was great. I had some friends who went to Amsterdam and drank nothing but Heineken. I could have killed them when i heard that.

dos equis is the most overrated beer ever. the amber at least has some flavor.
i think corona is the most overrated beer...people rave about it and i think it blows
Do they still make Pearl Light? That stuff was America's first bottled water.
they've got pearl in cans in a few bars here in Austin.
I bought Lowenbrau the other for a laugh b/c of the cheesy '80s commercials. gotta say it was Prettay, Prettay good!!
Corona is one of the worst beers I've ever had, but I'd have to throw Newcastle in with Heinneken on the massively overrated list.
Pilsner Urquell is awesome, and is one of the few of that style that I really like (the other lager I really like I have no idea how to spell, but it's name in English is Golden Pheasant).
Newcastle is horrible...
Yuengling is the greatest beer of all time.
The ones from that Goldilocks story..... oh.... wait..... sorry, I misread the thread.
A friend from England tasted a Miller Lite and said "It's like making love in a canoe, it’s ing near water!”
1. 1554
2. Belhaven
3. Samuel Adams
4. Shiner (cheat a bit)
Just got two cases of Sam Adams Octoberfest.....so good!
I'm back in Texas so....
1. Miller Lite
2. Coors Light
3. Lone Star Light
But for flavor, I will go with...
1. Chimay Premier
2. Chimay Reserve
3. Grolsch (in the old style bottle).
I love Bass Pale Ale. I was debating last night between that and Labatt Blue finally decided on the Labatts because I wanted the lighter beer.
1. Celebrator (a Bavarian beer). If I can ever find it. You have to go to a Bavarian restaurante or one of those bars that have over a hundred beers on the menu.
2. Bass
3. Samuel Addams
tooheys extra dry
reschs pilsener
pure blonde
I agree, It's all about the microbrews. The largest microbrewer in Utah is wasatch/squatters (different breweries, same ownership), but I don't like them. I drink mainly Uinta and Desert Edge.
Uinta is my favorite- they make the best porter I've ever had and it's won several gold medal awards in national tasting compe ions.

They make a pretty mean pale too.

I've never had a rye beer that wasn't from Desert Edge Brewery, it's seasonal, but their Road Rage Rye is one of the best tasting beers out there.

Wait, you're not 21!
Celebrator is a badass double bock
I went through a Corona phase back in the early '90's. Then one night at the Taco Cabana on Rittiman, they ran out of limes and my drunk ass put a lemon in one. Ewwwww. Then I asked myself why I was drinking a beer I had to doctor up. Never touched one since.
And you should see/smell the pile of broken/outdated Coronas they have at the importer's warehouse in Laredo. We haul Coronas, Modelos, etc. from there to Silver Eagle (you never know what might be on that big Frito truck in front of you!). Obviously TCEQ has never been to Librado Pena...
