at 155 he is in decent shape because he has to be thin to make weight. He has never been in great shape at 170. Last seen gassing out in the Hughes rematch. Have you seen him lately?? He has gotten very fat and out of shape in between fights again. GSP is one of the finest conditioned athletes in the sport. He is going to wear BJ out come Jan.
Im usually pretty busy at work, but if something goes down and someone needs help or cant go at the last minute I can try to come up with something...broke a bone in my shin today though so Im sure I can get a little free time. It was pretty nasty...Just jumped off the road grader, and somehow the bones in m legs just moved in the wrong directions...didnt pop out of the skin, but dang...naassty.

I was really impressed with Matt. Give him 2 or 3 years and he might be ready for a le shot. I hate to mention it cause i love both of them but Soku-Franklin would be a war. A good elimination fight IMO. 205 is such a mess. no one sticks out but Machida. Where does Wandy and Shogun fit in?
I'd rather see Machida get the next le shot. Nobody wants to see him as champ, though. "Too boring" and all.

I too would love to see Soku and Franklin....I think Wandy should fight Machida to see who fights the winner of Rashad/Forrest...but Rampage has Wandy Im pretty sure. What about Shogun/Machida...I want to see that, but the UFC wouldnt want Shogun to come in and lose 2 straight. Would they even risk it?

He's great Evan, no doubt about it. However you gotta admit, he is very tough to sell. You think Dana is looking to match him over Forrest, who is so popular and marketable? Forrest as champ at 205 is a very very good thing right now for the UFC. I just can't see them giving him a shot until he cleans everyone out of that division. He needs big wins over people like Jackson and Wandy to get that shot. Something that will really turn some heads.

I personally dont like Machida cause I think he's lame person. And after what he did to Rich and Soku.
No doubt he's a tough sell at this point in time but I think he will grow on people eventually. A KO or two will go a long way as we the mma fan are a emotional, fickle and reactionary breed much akin to the college football and soccer fan. If he wins his next fight he will get a le shot. He only has 13 fights he still has so much room to grow.

I really dont want to get into another Machida is boring/great debate. Obviously he is one of the better fighters in the division...There is a reason why nobody will fight him. No, he will never be exciting to a bandwagon fan, but for some of us diehard fans, its interesting the way he fights. How he dosent dictate the pace, and counterstrikes....its just interesting. Of course I want to see the massive knockouts, sick subs, judo throws, and great wrestling, but I dont mind watching Machida fight at all. He isnt my favorite....probably not in my top 15, but...at the end of the day he wins his fights. And thats the truth!
If he gets a KO or two people will change their minds
