If Al Davis would just sit back and shut up and just sign the checks, and let Lane Kiffin run the team, the Raiders would be in a lot better position.

Kiffin had some really great offensive plays called, but the team just made mistake after mistake. I think he's a great playcaller and hopefully he can teach them some discipline too. If Davis doesn't fire him for no good reason, he could be a premier coach in the league in another year or two.

alot of people critcized SD for taking Tomlinson too, it turned out okay for them. You can find a good DT anywhere if you scout well enough, but gamebreaking RB's are a lot tougher to get a hold of.
And the Texans were ripped for drafting Reggie Bush. Hindsight is 20/20. I just don't see it in this guy.

Did you watch him at Arkansas?

and as great as Mario Williams has been, he's not gonna help a whole lot of anything since they have for a running game and no QB.

i can understand that, but i think a big difference between bush and mcfadden is mcfadden is a smart runner. he knows how to follow blocks. he doesnt get by ENTIRELY by athletic ability. Bush is a freak of nature, but has ZERO understanding of football and terrible RB instincts. McFadden is also a of an athlete, but knows how to run correctly. instincts go a long way for a RB.

How many great RB's are there actually? 2-3 tops. Tomlinson, Peterson, and maybe Jackson. those aren't in every draft. look at that ty 2005 draft.

Yeah, Westbrook totally slipped my mind, but Parker? Johnson? nah. I don't think either of those two averaged over 4 YPC.

Parker has never averaged less than 4.1 YPC. Last year LJ was hurt, but he also never averaged less than 4.3 YPC.

    Sorry, just don't see it.
So you didn't watch him in college, and after one game in which he averaged 5 yards a carry in his NFL debut, you don't see anything. sorry but that's ing re ed.
