ssshhhhhh.... we need more of that.
Is he actually TRYING to lose?
ssshhhhhh.... we need more of that.
Ummmmmmm? Am I the only one who didn't hear Palin's name once? I suggest the republicans stop trying to turn common phrases into attacks on Palin's womanhood.

(i.e. conservatives)putting lipstick on a pig
A term used by many, generally in reference to someone who may be trying to make something or someone look appealing or attractive when it quite clearly will not work, or will only deceive the dumbest of people.
It will be interesting if this turns into a Dean Scream moment and sinks Obama. Any suggestions that the media is liberally biased is laughable if the MSM lets the Repubs make hay over this.
Wow... you all are really reaching here.![]()
What the McCain campaign should do is have Palin go out there saying how shocked she is that Obama would say such a thing about a woman. Even though I dont think he meant it in that way. It will put the Obama campaign on the defensive and have him uhhing and ahhing his way out of it.
GOP doesn't play fair, and the MSM doesn't call them out enough on their bull .
Seriously, that was a great use of a common phrase to attack your opponent.
Not bad attack, but cleverly used phrase to cleverly make fun of a stupid joke your opponent uses.
I like that.
You're serious arent you??? Seriously???
There's a blind partisan statement if I've ever seen one.
Very damn clever.
Palin's Tough macho lipstick-on-a-pitbull counter-punched back at 'em to describe Old Sick McSame's policies as the same lipsticked pig as dubya's policies.
McCain has used the phrase himself referring to Hillary Clinton's health care plan. And Obama has used it a ton of times in the past.

This is a complete non issue and a real stretch for the McCain campaign to play the gender card. Talk about politics as a contact sport.
Seriously!
I am not at all a fan of Obama, but even I could find nothing offensive in that statement.
Howabout Biden's gaff today?
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmi...s.html?showall
Biden had an awkward moment during a rally in Columbia, Mo., Tuesday. At the start of his remarks, he pointed out several state lawmakers in the audience for praise. When he got to Chuck Graham, a state senator from Green Meadows, Biden urged the lawmaker to "stand up Chuck, let 'em see ya."
But Graham, who is in a wheelchair, can't stand up - a fact Biden quickly picked up on.
Thats like when Bush told this reporter to take off his sunglasses in the press room. But he was blind and had crazy eyes, thats why he was wearing them.![]()

Here's how the lipstick wearers are answering:
20-Point Shift in McCain's Favor Among White Women
I don't care how he meant it as long as potential voters keep running from him. He was either stupid for unknowingly making a reference to "lipstick" or he was trying to be clever.
Yeah, white Republcian women...duH!
They vote...and, before the conventions they were 50-42% in favor of Obama. Now, they're 53-41% in favor of McCain.
Duh, back at'cha!
