Does it matter who your favorite NBA player is when buy shoes or because a Spurs payer wears them?

i bought last yrs duncans.... been a nike fan for a long time but damn these adidas are the ! duncans by far are the most comfortable shoe i have worn just barely surpassing the vince carters VI(i think it was).

I was told we couldn't wear spurs shoes here at work , I have been posting here and i was told you couldn't wear any sports shoes here at work I remember someone told me form my boss that is what I was told not wear spurs shoes in the building.........

I'd like to buy Duncans, but here in Slo. I just can't get them... I had Carter shox, but they were too big for my foot so I couldn't really tell if they were good.

i had some vc's too and they were awesome! i loved playing ball in them.
I'm currently wearing the Duncan's in koriwhat's avatar, and I have a few other pairs of his adidas. Yes, the fact that they were his shoe is why I looked at them, but it's the shoe itself that has me wearing them. They have great support and they're comfortable. It's a bonus that they're Duncan's. I didn't like the Duncan Nike's, so even though they were Duncan's I never bought them.
these shoes are awesome right?! damn so comfortable but my only complaint is the fact that i suck with white shoes. mine look like garbage already and it's a shame cause they are so nice and so comfy too. i should had bought 2 pairs.
They're my favorite out of all the pairs of his I have. They're incredibly comfortable. The white isn't a problem for me. A quick wipe takes care of them.
I've only seen one pair of Duncan shoes I'd wear, the rest are bleh.
KG used to have some real nice shoes back when I was in high school.
But to answer the question: no. I buy what I think looks good and if it doesn't have my ankle support or is lightweight then I keep looking.
I only ever had 1 pair of nba player shoes David Robinson. Looking back at it I can't believe I got my mom to spend that much money on a pair of shoes. Now I just buy the cheapest shoes I can find that I like, usually around $40.
I have every pair of Tim's shoes that were made!! Even when he was with Nike. But I must say that I like the Adidas better than the Nike shoes. And they're extremely more comfortable than the Nike shoes!! Well actually I take that back, I have all but one pair. And the ones I don't have are the White ones that these guys have in their default picture. I believe they were called TS Lightswtch? I actually ordered them one time but in black and they sent me white due to a mistake on the Adidas website. And when I received them I sent them back. I thought they were super ing ugly..
