You're damn right they learn in school. No classes for money management, investment, credit counseling, purchasing and so on. Education system is missing the boat here.

School should teach a life skills class. Teach you how to balance a checkbook, work out a budget, write a resume, conduct yourself at a job interview, etc.
I certainly wouldn't argue that but its something that probably deserves a full years worth of education. Most adults don't know their own from the lint in their toes.
I was thinking the same, hopefully when they get older they will carry that knowledge and not get into debt.

I just pulled it off of photobucket. The wife can make some pieces that would put that one to shame. She's been doing baby shower planning on the side for the past year or so.
B2B's Thoughts: There are load of mexxicans in Texas. Mexicans have babys left and right. Messsicans love to go over board with stupid baby planning. I'm trying to convince her to offer this kind of to more than just friends and family.

All I know is they oldest did have to learn how to write checks and balance a check book in one of her classes. I'm not sure what they teach these days though but I'm making sure mine know the best that I can give.
