The last one (I forget for sure) was about 800 years ago. The alarmists blame CO2 which is really stupid when you research the sciences. The only warming I see that is man-made is the soot from Asia, carried by the jet stream, melting the arctic ice. A variance of 0.2% from the suns output changes the earths temperature by about 0.44 C, or 0.79 F. It has changed that much over the last 100 years.

I am not aware of a theory as to where the Universe came from in the first place from the Scientific community. One that addresses where the very dense mass responsible for the Big Bang came from. Honestly, if there is one I would like to know about it.
