1) He didn't know/remember, which is pretty funny considering he's running for President of the United States.
2) He didn't want to answer knowing he'd be labeled an arugula eating elitist if he had more than...I dunno let's say 3 houses. That means he intentionally withheld some information that was completely stupid if you ask me. Who cares how many homes this guys has? Oh that's right, he thinks you do.

I'm not in a hissy fit. I just think it's incredibly lame that anyone is getting pissed about McCain (well, his wife - who is a freaking millionaire several times over) having multiple cars registered in their family's name when we're dealing with an economic meltdown.
Some managers at my company have four cars, of course they have two kids also. I guess this makes them evil.
