Disagree completely...I think this week is net a loss for Obama. Basically we had an economic disaster this week, that a lot of people feel is the responsibility of the Republicans, and Obama got a minimal gain out of it at best. This could have been an election sealer if played correctly, and it wasn't.
I don't really get how you could expect a week like this to boost McCain's numbers no matter what McCain did or said...meanwhile it could have really boosted Obama's numbers, and the end result is that it really didn't.
An out of context quote isn't going to swing anyone that has remained undecided this long...the people swung by out of context quotes long ago decided who they would be voting for...
And I still say the polls are giving conflicting results...for instance yesterday they had polls showing McCain ahead in Florida, Ohio and Virginia, and today they have polls saying exactly the opposite...and that big Obama surge in Michigan and Colorado isn't showing up in every poll.
And now polls are starting to show McCain ahead in NH which will offset what looks to be a definite loss in NM....not to mention showing McCain ahead in Nevada.
Flipping Iowa, Colorado and NM while losing NH won't get Obama elected...
