    Another non-answer.

Don't worry, all this squirming says more than a truthful answer from any of you would.

    Thanks.

The answer is I have no ing clue why she doesn't give our very unbiased media more interviews. Is she braking a law?

i could really care less why her interview count isn't to your liking. i couldn't, but especially you couldn't tell me why that is. that's really the best i can answer that. i supposed you want me to say that she's inexperienced and yes she is. the republican bottom of the tickets equals the democratic top of the ticket. and that's fact. and why does it matter to you that she's not doing interviews? it is vice presidential nominee palin. not presidential palin, and don't give me this heartbeat stuff.
That's garbage. If Obama had been hiding from the media and didn't speak with anyone about ANYTHING then you'd have a point. The fact is he does speak on many issues concerning this country and clearly has an understanding on those issues.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Palin knows NOTHING on the issues we face here. She knows whatever talking points the McCain people tell her to memorize. That's IT. She's nothing more than a prop that was used to energize the conservative base like a MC at a concert. It had to be done because McCain was putting people to sleep. However, no one that ignorant on the issues should even be on a presidential ticket whether it be #1 or #2.

Here is my question: If McCain wanted a woman so bad because Obama passing over Hillary gave him an opening, what is so wrong with KB Hutchison or Elizabeth Dole?

Palin is pathetic, and if Obama had chosen some skirt that had the exact same resume and tried to hide her from the press, McCain backers would be up in arms.

this would fall in the "i know what you are, but what am i" type of logic
Not really. I pointed out that you're using a phrase incorrectly.

i couldn't have said it better myself.
That's because those quotes have nothing to do with each other.

It's not a matter of my liking.
it seems to be bothering you so

It's a stunningly low amount of interviews for a vice presidential candidate with such a high profile.
i guess this is where the republicans are at fault for causing all the media spotlight to go on her. it's not her fault she has more to her then Joe "Stand Up" Biden.

I can respect that some of you guys are staunch Republicans but I get the feeling that you would defend the selection of a used pair of sneakers for Vice President of the United States as long as it was on the GOP ticket.

I consider myself a moderate. I've never voted for a Republican candidate, but I will this time around.

Yes, the poor media is out to get her. Gibson asked her tough but fair questions, and she sputtered like a ' trying to make her talking points fit his questions like a square peg into a round hole. If Gibson came across as condescending and patronizing, it's because she exposed herself as so out of depth and had to have the Bush Doctrine explained to her slowly and phonetically.

I came out of that interview convinced Charles Gibson is more qualified to be Veep than she is.

Your evasiveness in explaining it amuses me.

i guess this is where the republicans are at fault for causing all the media spotlight to go on her. it's not her fault she has more to her then Joe "Stand Up" Biden.
Again, why are you trying to change the subject to Biden?

Why doesn't Palin do more interviews?

She has a nicer set of s for sure. But Biden has been in the Senate for 36 years and has served as chairman of the foreign relations and judiciary committee. Palin invoiced rape victims for rape kits as mayor of Wasilla, so I'm not sure what you mean when you say she has "more" to her than Biden. It's a ing presidential election, not a student government referendum.

Whatever else you can say about Biden, he's at least competent to assume Presidential duties. Can you honestly say the same about Palin?

It's a rhetorical question, since they can't bring themselves to admit she'd look bad like she did in the Gibson interview.

Oh and just for those who think there is no "Bush doctrine". It was referenced in Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Al Franken way back in 2003. Yeah it's a liberal's book but that's irrelevant. It was mentioned and discussed. So there is such a thing and she didn't know what it was.

Is it too much to say "Yes, I wish our VP nominee was a little bit more out in the open a month and a half before the Election. While VP is not President, it is a very important Executive position and it would be nice to know a little more about who she is and what she believes."

You're so locked in to your "team" that you've abandoned reasonable standards for people who are supposed to be key players in shaping this country's future. Demand better.
i don't consider myself a republican, but i think i'm going to be republican this presidential election. quite frankly i find your post very Democratic. "locked into your team" if you will. "a used pair of sneakers" that's pretty low, but i'll overlook that. i've stated that she is inexperienced in a vice presidential role, but who is unless you're running for reelection. foreign policy experience. isn't that why a Cabinet is appointed? Advisors......
demand better? obama had bad judgement when he let all of hilary's supporters go by picking someone else. demand better is what we all should be asking. unlock from your "team"

I hope the Dems keep running against her.

I mean, this is the IDEAL time for the Democrats and they're in a weird panic mode.

    1. VERY unpopular in bent president
    2. VERY unpopular and expensive war
    3. Lousy economy
    4. Housing market collapse
    5. Stock market falling
    6. High gas prices

If Dems can't win on these issues (and instead focus on Palin's perceived inadequacies), then they're screwed.

Absolutely not. If it was then you might as well nominate people in the cabinet. One might even say that's how we got into this current mess with Dubya. He knows nothing about foreign relations and takes what his advisors take as fact.
