    PA has gone Democratic in the last 4-5 presidential elections.

    Bush was ahead of Kerry in the state polls in PA at this stage of the game and he STILL lost the state. McCain has not led once, not once. If Obama is up +2-4 come election day he will win PA.

    Except, Republican Herbert Hoover was in office when the stock market crashed in October 1929. There also was no television at the time; TV wasn't introduced to the public until a decade later, at the 1939 World's Fair
