The rest of the show rocked. I was pretty psyched for a big finale. And then....

The finale was a let down. I agree about the rest of the show. I love to watch him.

He is so full of . Every stunt he does has some kind of out, like this one where he got to take a ten minute pee break every hour. Did they show that?

I think he definitely screwed up. you can tell by his reaction that he messed up, and you could hear him or someone saying to pull him back up. i think the announcer guy was kind of at a loss for words for a while then seemed like he read off a script that was probably made just in case he FAILED.. lol

Blaine is blaming it on Bush:
Blaine was on Regis and Kelly saying that ABC pushed his stunt because of Mr. President's address. And because of the delay, the wind picked up and caused malfunction. What was supposed to happen was the he was supposed to jump off the platform, stop mid-air and float off in the sky. Which obviously didn't happen correctly. The first video in the following link briefly shows the balloons that carried him off "into the atmosphere"
