I think this was a response to Street Figther vs Marvel, but this is sort of like 10 years late.
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 was THE !!! And needs to have a new sequal made already......BEST FIGHTING GAME EVER!!!

the games have been ty for a while now, but mk does have the coolest characters out of any fighting game...ever. Also they would own any other fighting game's roster easy also.
scorpion is probably the coolest game character ever. well top 5 at least.

Mortal Kombat made me what I am today. Of course that doesn't mean since I still have about 4/5 of my life ahead of me, but still. Mortal Kombat kicks ass.

Joker's fatality, the one that was Trainwreck's (?) avatar for a while, had to be edited to get a Teen rating. Fail.

Wow, that is pretty ing fail.
My roommate bought the game yesterday and I spent a few hours with it and left surprised. The next-gen MKs had always been pretty weak to me; the controls always felt weird and the overall game felt slow and sluggish, but this game was pretty fun.
While I was sad that the Joker's fatality was censored (the kill happens off-screen now) the other fatalities were decent. The free-fall combat is awesome and really can turn the fight around (dmg up to 30%) and the moves are pretty imaginative.
Of course things could be a little more varied and I haven't really checked out the single player, but the multiplayer was pretty fun.

I watched an hour or two of this game (storymode) on justintv last night and it looked pretty fun.
It was cool when a super hero would push the other guy through walls of the nearby building.
I've never really cared for DC heroes though.

I also used that one girl with all the bats around her I forget her name.
