The Sun is reporting today that Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has agreed to join the other members of Led Zeppelin for a reunion tour that will kick off sometime in 2009. After the band (bassist John Paul Jones, guitarist Jimmy Page, and drummer Jason Bonham), warned Plant that they had found someone they could use as a lead singer, and planned to tour with or without Plant, Plant decided to agree to the tour.
This isn’t the first time Page has persuaded Plant back into his arms by threatening to use another vocalist: in the early ‘90s Page cut a record with David Coverdale of Whitesnake. It’s unclear if the band were really going to tour without Plant (they claim they had an American vocalist ready to go), but we could have had a Ratt-like (or a Doobie Brothers-like, or a Queen with Paul Rodgers-like) reunion on our hands if Plant hadn’t decided to tour. Granted Jason Bonham isn’t the original drummer, but a tour without Plant would have been unforgivable.
The band is reportedly in the planning process for the tour, and will begin rehearsing soon.

Without the great bands of the past, your "new" music wouldn't exist...listen to "The Song Remains The Same", or better yet watch the DVD without interruption, then listen to your "new" music...you'll be saying wtf was I thinking.
And I'm afraid his face is kinda looking like an old shoe....
