I got to see the last quarter and a half. Silver Stars blew a 9 point lead once LA D-ed up and took away their offensive flow. Sophia Young was not playing well at all while I was watching. Even after Hammon hit that three to put the Stars up by one, Sophia allowed herself to get pushed under the basket and out of rebounding position - giving LA an easy second chance go-ahead layup after a miss.
She made up for it big-time. That was about as clutch a buzzer-beater as you you can make in a playoff game. It was a bit hard off the glass, hit the front rim, went back off the glass again...and in.

I'm not, I don't' even know if they win unless I read a post here mentioning the games.
I will be there.
Today's game was pretty freakin awesome. It was a lot like that Game 1 against the Suns in the first round, but the Stars' season was on the line.
Thanks for the links.
First thought: wow, good thing they were playing with the smaller WNBA ball.
Second thought:
Well I know one thing for sure. Fab would fit right in with the Stars. All they do it tip the ball out.
that's not typical of them though. I think they're doing it this series b/c LA's bigs grab what seems to be every ball that's up there.
Great shot
I hope Star can win another one and go to the finals
This is pretty cool and all...
but you just wee-wee'd all over Tim Duncan's legacy.
haha.
that was definitely not my intention.
game tied at 52 with 55 sec, Hammon, Riley, Young have been clutch so far in the game
That was nice how they chipped it down from 8... but Riley's gonna get dominated by Parker all 4th quarter if Wauters doesn't return.
I still want to go out with you, though, Ruth... I'm just sayin' Parker's gonna keep beating you on the block.
Becky is having a great game so far.
Yep, but they're gonna need Sophia Young to get hot.

That offensive foul call a few possessions back that seemed to get Hughes going was pretty awful.
That one where Leslie got FTs was pretty ty, too.
God these refs are whistle-happy.
free throw airball? lol
That strip was ing awesome!
And yeah, that was a push-off.
