Far and away the funniest part.Tiny Fey's response to the 700B dollar question was almost, word for word, verbatim with what Palin said. It was so stupefyingly hilarious that they didn't even change the answer.

The guy who plays Obama on SNL is not that good. The one guy I thought had it pretty damn close is the dude from MadTV Jordan Peele.
The McCain dude from SNL is pretty good though.
nah... not as good as the Bush/Gore lockbox debate skit. I've been looking everywhere for that on video, but haven't found it.
The best SNL President was Dana Carvey as Bush 1. If he'd run for President instead of Bush in 92, Bush 1 might have won.

SNL's Obama is the worst political impression they've done since Chevy Chase played Gerald Ford.
The Obama impersonation isn't great but it might be better if they gave him some funny lines.
Armison sucks. He's just trying to mimic some of Obama's speech patterns without developing a character.
Look at Ferrell's Bush. He didn't really look like or sound like him, but it was a damn good characterization.

The current cast is one of the least funny in history.
Bill Hader, Darrell Hammond, & Andy Samberg aren't bad, but the rest of that cast sucks -- BIG TIME.
Kristin Wigg is funny. I think Samberg sucks ass.
Andy Samberg is cute. But he's the least talented on the current SNL cast. he basically plays himself in most skits. Except when he plays a child -- he does that pretty well, and that's actually hard to find in a sketch comedy actor. Before Amy Poehler came along SNL had a long drought of actors who could play children, and none did it as well as Gilda Radner. Amy Poehler does.
I think Fred Armisen is brilliant, personally. I think he'd got Obama spot on. I also think Darrell Hammond is brilliant as Bill Clinton - and was that him doing McCain, too?
