Do you see that button at the top left of every thread? That says "Post Reply." It allows you to include your thoughts with other thoughts on various subjects all in one place. I believe you are mistaking the "New Thread" button for this. The "New Thread" button should only be used for thoughts on a brand new topic, or at least a new article.
