    Darn.
how many games in this series? best of 5?
yup, its a best of five.

Game 2 is Friday night at 6:30
Game 3: Sunday, Oct. 5: San Antonio at Detroit, 3:45 p.m.
Game 4: Monday, Oct. 6: San Antonio at Detroit, 6:45 p.m., if necessary
Game 5: Thursday, Oct. 9: Detroit at San Antonio, 6:45 p.m., if necessary

The Stars had a chance at the end, but Detroit completely dominated the last minute and a half. But man, this season, win or lose, the Stars have completely erased any negative stereotypes I've had about women's basketball. I wasn't against it, but I never really cared much about it, though now I'm watching and hopefully if i can get away from school and make it back home to SA, I want to attend a game.

Especially with the dirt cheap prices they have the tickets at.

Got drilled as expected and losing home court advantage will be huge.

I 'd say the Shock will sweep the poor and lucky silver stars

After Louis's run of predictions during last playoffs, this bodes as a good sign for the Stars.

Yup, showed him sitting with the rest of the team.

They said the crowd stood and cheered when they came in and the Stars were so struck by it, they stopped warm ups.
Not exactly. The crowd stood and cheered and the Stars stopped to see who everyone was cheering and looking at. The Rampage team was there as well in a Terrace Suite. The were shown on the lighthouse and the PA plugged them, but nobody seemed to care. They didn't show the Spurs on the lighthouse though.

    You need a life kid.

Though I suspect this is just a Spurs fan with one too many handles and a need to show case his different personalities.

However, I predict this isn't mouse.

I went to the game tonight. I was hyped up and quickly hyped down because women's basketball is simply women's basketball.

What a waste of my time.

I think it's Louis the Rockets fan. Princess pimp. And many other names as well. Ignore is your best bet no matter what name or team he's using.

No Mason is right behind Bowen.

I think Tolliver is the one wearing the Braves hat. Could be wrong.
Neither Mason or Tolliver are in those pics.

That crew was in a box behind the Shock bench; the rest of the gang was across the arena in another box. There weren't many reactions from either box (as far as I could tell) for much of the game -- at one point, David Robinson and his kids went over and sat with the Tim/Manu/Bruce bunch and that was about as animated as they were all night. In the other box, though, Matt Bonner was up on his feet several different times and actually seemed to be into the game.

I could almost swear that I ran into Joe Dumars -- at the very least, I saw a guy who bore an uncanny resemblance to Joe Dumars.
