its because she doesn't have a thousand years of being in government wich is completely fine with me.

It's great to not be corrupted by the game as many long time experienced politicians are. But to jump onto the main stage, you've got to at least be able to sell that you are indeed ready for the job. IMO, Palin has so far failed to do that. I like her. I wish she was a better candidate for the McCain ticket. But she's just not ready.

There's a big difference. The "maverick" claims are them tooting their own horn about what they are, not what they're going to do.

That's like someone calling themselves hot over and over again, not exactly the same as promoting a government change. Would you want to believe someone that calls themselves a "bad ass" continually each time you talk to them?
