She really had an awful first half hour. Cringe inducing. She seemed to get a little more comfortable as she went on, but I think she lost a lot of people in the beginning.
???? I argued with you over that too because ONCE AGAIN, you implied that I was stupid for how I felt about Finley. Honestly, you start half the you get yourself into by making comments that make people seem stupid.
And you tell me to get a ing tissue? Jesus Christ I forgot about that until now![]()

To help the incoming, to get it back to Clinton era numbers. Because GW has been a big time friend to the rich and not to the poor and look where our economy is at now.
But hey, if 7% is gonna "kill ya" you probably aren't making too much.![]()
Yup
And he wants to raise it even more.
Thats not counting the income tax I have to pay in Arizona and California as well.
And here my husband has an advanced degree for nothing...![]()
Yeah, steal from the rich and give it to the poor.
You people that make alot of money, EVIL!!!1
Yeah she got a little on track in the middle when she started talking super super fast about energy. But other than that, I cringed through most of it too.
Also, I think the main accomplishment of the night was Palin's political career was nearly over this week and she may have saved it tonight.
CNN poll results are coming out
Who did the best 51-36 in favor of Biden.
Hey, Tpark! "How you doin'?"

Raising taxes isn't the solution to save our country. It's lowering government spending.
Obama likes to talk about raising taxes, and that's all well and flowery liberal bull , but he's also proposing just under a trillion in new spending as well.
It's amazing that board liberals have been ing left and right about the economy the last week, but y'all are jazzed about a candidate that wants to spend more than what the estimate for the bailout program on new socialist bull .
Just what appeals to all you clowns about us becoming more like the former USSR, Cuba, China, North Korea, etc.?
haha...just having fun, TPark
I wouldn't say that, but I doubt you or your husband would like to do what I do for a living, nor endure being though of as s of the earth just for what you do.
I think Biden was substantively sound and rhetorically strong, which I think helps Obama a good deal -- or, as Manny says, at least doesn't hurt him. I thought Biden did the right thing to focus his criticisms on McCain while offering up a good chunk of Obama's platform with solid rationales.
I didn't get a lot of substance from Palin -- she dodged too much on several substantive matters, went frequently to canned talking points about her folksiness, and seemed overly reliant on canned information that was meant much more to attack Obama than to argue for McCain's policies.
Well no but they aren't going to lower them anytime soon. And if it's between lowering them for wealthy corporations and individuals/families or lowering them for the middle class, I'm going with the middle class, thanks.
Damn money hungry wumminJK
I think people naturally want to finish strong, but I feel in debates its really important to have a strong begining. The reason for this is that as the debate goes on, many people get bored and begin to change the channel. There are more people who leave the broadcast as opposed to people tuning in late and I think thats an important factor to consider who wins which part of the debate.
You do know deductions are phased out at higher income brackets don't you. Going back to 40% marginal, 15.4% employment, 8% sales, 3% property, government fees, etc... You are pretty close to if not over 50%.
So we have to pick and choose now?
Why not do ACROSS THE BOARD
novel idea I know.
Really, so why isn't he lamenting McCain and his "his $5,000 for insurance" but we'll have to tax your health insurer in order to give you said money.
Me, too.
Yeah, the middle class is poor.
You truly are a dumb POS.
Very well said as always.
I don't think she can increase the power of the VP without changing the cons ution.. which I believe takes congress and the states to change..
biden sounded like a career politician and a big part of our problems. Palin started off slow and finished strong. She is the future if she wants to be.
