Obama probably doesn't want to legitimize this wingnut's claims by handing over his birth certificate. It's much bigger news to bring forth your birth certificate than it is if some asshat asks for it with no grounds to say it's fake. It would bring it into national spotlight and even if he produces it, it would put doubt into many people's minds. There. Happy Kevin?

I think he's thrown a lot of up against the wall hoping some of it sticks, swamps or at least puts doubts in the minds of voters.


I think asking for that long form is a way of turning this into a cluster that could drag on untill election day.



What I don't understand is why Obama doesn't just go up there and show what he's got, which looks(on the net) and sounds like it's the same thing the court is always willing to accept....


Not only will it end this, but it will make Berg look stupid and it will ease the doubts of the American Public hearing it verified by a court.

It's(the case) basically like this:


1. The birth certificate is a forgery.
2. Even if it isn't, it's not a legitimate birth certificate.
3. Even if it is, he gave up his citizenship when his mom remarried and he went to Indonesia.
4. Oh yeah...he was born in Kenya.
5. Even if he wasn't, he still gave up his citizenship on the Indonesian thing and didn't get it back.
