well i just picked up my copy of 2k9 and man do i wanna play it so so bad... damn work! i went and picked it up during my lunch(well earlier) and now all i can do is read the damn manual over and over again. ah i can't in' wait to get home later.

they got this cool thing where you can now "shadow" your opponent. pretty cool. talks about funneling your opponent in different directions so you can more accurately defend them and force them to go where you want them to. plus there's also a way to control 2 players at one time type thing and some cool offensive stuff like touch passing and whatnot.

This game is dope. I changed my camera to 2k, and moved the height and zoom from 5 to 4.

I was shooting FT's with Kobe with about 30 seconds left, and they started chanting MVP. dope.
how is the game different than 2k8? is the AI different? will the computer run the fast break with you now?
I was up 82-80 with the Spurs online, and then kobe hit a stupid layup with 5 guys draped on him, then stole the inbound pass and layed it in at the buzzer.

Great game though! How do you double team in this year's edition? Last year it was the LB button (360), but this year it doesn't seem to work. There is nothing about it in the instruction manual.
Your teammates help you SO much more in this year's edition.
, even Oberto was useful! They cut to the basket so much more and are much more alert on defense. I think they made the scoring a bit easier than they should have (shooting 50%+ from the field isn't too far fetched anymore) but I guess they are trying to widen their audience to newbies.

Same, but it takes longer to respond now for some reason. Kobe is unstoppable so far.
AI is better. They hit the streakers a lot quicker. Post game is most more difficult.

the reviews for Live 09 are surprisingly very good, I may give it a try since the 2K series, as good as it is, is basically a yearly roster update.
Is anyone feeling too many skips while playing though?
nope it's a weekly roster update now... says so in the manual.
