    Mouse was right about one thing, though. I did go to my knees and thank the Lord after Avery hit that jumper against the Knicks.

    But I always thanked God whenever that flat, non-rotating, shot put throw of a jumpshot actually was fortunate enough to go through the hoop for Avery.
