It would make for boring tv.
    No alcohol=no drama for show.

    ratings=money
i disagree, its a smart move to leave the alc. i thought he gave a great explanation, something like this "we give you guys alcohol because you guys are grown men, if you want to relax, you can. its also a good way to see who the re s are."

and its true, at the end of the day they are all men who are trying to become professionals, if theyre still in the drunkard phase they shouldnt be there.
My point is that Dana doesn't care if they act like "re s" despite whatever speech he gives. I he truly wanted them to straighten up, he'd pull the alcohol. Professional athletes shouldn't need an endless supply anyway. In the past some fighters have complained that it took 3 days to get a certain food but if they needed alcohol it was brought to them immediately.

Curious to see if the ratings are any better...

and if Junie is a badass it won't matter what he does (I thought he was the "next Anderson Silva" unless Dana was referring to somebody else?). He won't get the Jesse treatment if that's the case...

everything else you said is right but pro's should be clean for athletic events and shouldn't need monitored.

Agreed but they want these guys to get smashed and cause problems in the house. They have no TV, no Radio, can't make any phone calls, no real form of entertainment but they provide them with plenty of boos. Of course if i were there, i'd be just drinking plenty of water, eating my meals, getting my rest and fighting my fights. That is what you are there for, i'm just saying they want these guys to get wasted and they know the weaker minded ones will do that.

Bottom line....that type of stuff draws ratings. It certainly makes mediocre MMA fans want to watch. We watch it because we want to see who will be TUF, and the future of the UFC. Other folks...well thats what they want to see. I think I read this in a previous post, and I totally agree with it...it wouldnt shock me if e TV is behind letting Junie stay because they know when crazy rediculous stupid ignorant things happen, people will watch.

Since evidently the fix is in to keep Drunken Re #1 on the show no matter what, he would probably suspend Nog

    "TUF 8 Rating - Week 3

    October 2, 2008

MMAPayout.com has learned that the 10/1 episode of the Ultimate Fighter on e drew a 0.8 rating (1.1 million viewers). That is the lowest rating in the series’ history. The program drew quarter hours of 0.80, 0.66, 0.79, and 0.90. The key demographic numbers were a a 1.13 in M18-34 and a 1.04 in M18-49."

With ratings that BAD, UFC will likely be doing some major re-tooling for sure for next season. They will need 2 star coaches that are going to fight at the end of the show and a tweaked format to e up the whole experience.

LOL and Junie crying like a little . He has cried at least 3 times. Funny thing is I have a friend like that. He wants to fight, then crys and says he loves everyone, then is happy. We have had to choke him out a few times.
    LOL,

Yeah and after seeing that show, i am convinced that Junie is either trying to get tossed off the show or he just flat out has a chemical imbalance and is ed in the head. Dana rips into him about his antics the night before but lets him stay yet it looked like later in that same afternoon he is starting with someone else saying "Get up try and submit me". Jumping into the octagon after the fight was over to start some more was just comical. So i am going with, trying to get tossed off or just incapable of controlling himself.

Looks like they made him look a little worse than he deserved.

There was a notable moment not shown; most of us came together and decided that it was time to get Junie kicked off the show. We were going to antagonize him until he broke down and took a swing at one of us – just keep pushing his buttons.

I kind of hope he does not get booted, but I would like to see him fight again...This time maybe in the octagon. If he gets his ass kicked then he is gone anyways. I say put up or shut up. He wont have to say if someone can just put him down.

My vote is that he does not get booted tonight.
