yep, the pump fake spin/hop step = major double dribble. its wierd bc the move worked fine in the demo but the final version several post moves are glitched

Online for 2k these first few days has been a disaster. I had to adjust some of my router settings bc i keep getting the "Check FAQ/2k website" error when trying to start a game. Anyways, online for 2k works fine for me but there are still alot of people with problems connecting and experiencing crazy lag especially on the 5-on-5
what would be better than receiving life advice from you while playing some 2k9?

Its not a personal thing I dig you guys too. Its more because I work with people all day long and generally can't stand the general public and that would make for akward silence while we played...at the end of the day I'm pretty much done talking and I'm usually in a pisspoor mood.

The draft will be whatever we can all agree on is a good time. The scheduling will be whenever the two people who have to play each other find the time to play. It will be a 20 game league, if that's cool with everyone?
i need 2k camera online! i can not play that side scrolling bs.... i keep getting my ass handed to me online because i can't see who i have on the other side of the court guarding who until the ballhandler brings the ball down and i have poor depth perception playing with that camera view. why the is there no 2k camera online?
is pissing me off and not only the camera but the fact that i can only do player match online and it takes forever to find compe ion. i keep getting some stupid faq/2k unavailable bs.

Just bought it today after work and WOW!
Better than 2k8 in every aspect (although the side scrolling sucks, but no big deal)
I like the TNT type presentation; Frawsome (= freaking awesome)
I've noticed Kobe's facial expression when coming off a time out, or the " MVP " chants when he's on the FT line
Shooting forms even more realistic.
I also like the fact that big men will set picks, while in 2k8 you had guards or whoever was the closest doing it
I've played only 2 games so far, but it looks like the players rituals when someone else is shooting FT (like Rip arranging his mask or LBJ eating his fingernails) have disappeared.
Also, it looks like Odom doesn't bring the ball up on occasion when the Lakers inboud the ball (it was the case in 2K8), but I have to play more games to confirm that

because there's like 4 other achievements that would be exactly what he would get.
I was on the virge of buying it... and then I found out... STEAM... Looks like I am not getting 2k9 for PC after all... I hate the direction PC gaming is going...
why in the world would you want to play 2k9 on a pc? do you not own a console? ps3, 360, even ps2?
If there are patches being made I'd definately pick up a PC copy. People will probably find ways to modify the crowd, player appearances, maybe even stadiums... If you look at games like the pro evolution soccer series, you'd see that anything is possible on the pc
