    fact is romo makes bonehead plays EVERY SINGLE game.. it is not once in a while...it is every game you can count on him making 1-2 huge choke/bonehead/rookie mistakes... great qbs don't have that every single game.

    So what? I don't give a if he's great, I just give a if he wins. He's winning. I'll take a fumble or an interception if it comes with 300 yards passing, 3 or 4 touchdowns and a chance to win, even if it doesn't meet your re ed litmus test of what makes a "great" quarterback.

    I really don't understand the roughing the passer interpretation. Lame ones get called, and then ones where the rusher has the QB in his grasp but clearly puts him down way after the ball is gone don't get called.

    And Lord knows I have no desire to see Tony Romo get protected.

    Is Phillips going to be coaching? He's made some seriously re ed defensives schemes that have cost us (not that Romo was much help) like the all out blitz on a 3&7 ... which results in a wide open pass in the middle.
