    the fact is at the end of the day dirk has as many rings as tmac and yao. However, I'd be willing to bet tmac and yao will retire with at least one while dirk won't.

    The increase of Rocket fans here brings to mind a similar occurrence with Suns fans in 2005.

    I'm kinda hoping history repeats itself here.

    The Suns have been to the WCF twice since Nash arrived, to the conference semi-finals once, and got eliminated in the first round last year (3 of those eliminations came at the hands of the Spurs). I think Suns fans have had the right to be excited about our team, especially since we've been one of the best teams in the league for the last 4 years.

    The Rockets, on the other hand. Well, they haven't proven anything with this lineup, haven't even made it out of the first round. It's one thing to be excited about the future, but these Rox fans have no right to ride a high horse this early in the season.
