i think so. i believe SC is #4 in the current unofficial BCS standings. plenty of season left to rise...or fall.

i understand florida just ripped lsu apart...but florida had a worse loss than SC. ol' miss at the swamp? at least oregon state is a good team, they had utah beat if not for that horrible pass interference call. did anyone see that game? unreal.

SC's wins have been more impressive than florida's... even Virginia has had some nice wins.

USC proved they were not mentally strong by making mistakes. its all part of the game. not being mentally strong means you have a weakness, just like lack of running game is considered a weakness, or lack of defense is considered as weakness.

second, U.T. actually owns SC because the only game that truly mattered, UT won.
