We won the Orange Bowl in 2003, we won the Sugar Bowl in 2005. We actually have a loss at the Rose Bowl.
How many teams get to play a BCS game in their home stadium year in and year out?

You sure about that, Tonto?
The 05 game was the Orange Bowl too.
Serious? lol, damn my bad. Either way, USC has proven they can win the big games.
SC has won as many BCS games outside of their home stadium as UT, Wisc, WVa, UGA, Miami and uo. Ohio has won 4 no where near their home.
Who gives a damn. LSU got to play the Sugar Bowl in their "Home Stadium" and nobody gives a .
mike,
again, you're only looking at factors that you think strengthen your argument. SC plays one the toughest non-conference schedules year in and year out and has a phenomenal record against the top 10. you're not going to agree with this, but the pac-10 is plenty tough...lots of talent and the ability to beat any team anywhere. though, i do think they are more inconsistent than some of the other power conferences. SC has more trouble with conference foes than top 25 non-conference opponents.
playing in the rose bowl isn't much of an advantage. both teams have about equal amount of fans in the stands and it isn't like the visiting team is traveling overnight to make the afternoon game. its a bunch of college kids. if anything, i'd think playing near home would be more of a distraction. so you can stop the insanity.
SC is the best program in college football right now, and all your spinning and efforts in convincing can't change that.
Hopefully the Beavs can win out. If so, we win the Pac-10 via our head to head win against USC.
And you don't?
Talk about spinning. Not much of an advantage in the Rose Bowl... just a bunch of college kids... now we know why people think you aren't very smart. Because you don't think before you open your yap and say stupid stuff.
I list facts; you list "you know its that way," and "because its the way it is," and "you know this to be true" flames without facts.
i doubt oregon state wins out, but maybe. it would be funny if oregon state was pac-10 champs and SC was in the le game.
capt. dumb ass,
my first sentence is fact.
my second thought is opinion.
my third statement is fact.
my last paragraph is opinion.
whats the problem? i have no delusions of grandeur and i'm sorry you feel inferior. you attacked me b/c you disagreed with my opinion (its right there in your last post).
I didn't attack you I just said what everyone else on this board thinks, and says most of the time. That's fact, too.
most of the posters on this board are idiots...they make assumptions and get emotional. plus, the dislike for SC and myself clouds their judgment.
...and we both know you called me stupid.
You have GOT to be a 12-year old girl.
"I know you are but what am I?"
I like how Collins isn't looking at Shipley or trying to throw the block to get him in the endzone, he's staring at the fool that got Cosby'd.
Maybe USC in the past has, but Mark Sanchez hasn't proven jack to me, other than he can choke when a game is tight.
U.T. would stomp USC. Pac-10 football sucks.
It would be nice to see UT play USC for the le again...
As long as the Beavs win the Pac-10...
Sanchez was pretty good against Oregon and Ohio State, but you have a decent point. we'll see how he responds if the Trojans get in another tight one.
t.u. would not stomp SC. SC has never been stomped since Pete Carroll has been coach and it wont happen this year. aside from that, i don't think t.u. fan should be all that excited at the possibility of playing the Trojans. yes, t.u. beat okla , but SC is a different animal.
Romo likes SC's defense but knows Mark Sanchez would throw 8 picks in a half if he ever starts a national championship game.
i'm a big fan of jordan shipley. he's having a nice year.
lol, perhaps.
