No that would be banks giving out loans to people that didn't have the means to pay back said loans, and the government poking its nose into business that it shouldn't have poked its nose into. Also people buying things that they couldn't pay for and living beyond their means.

Thats why everything is goofed up right now.

ATRAIN is more right than you think. The inflation due to rising gas prices made it nearly impossible for the families that might have otherwise been able to scrape by with a ed up ARM. You're talking about a very small piece of the puzzle but don't get me wrong its the number 1 thing that catches the blame.
