Tolliver finishes with a miss. Does that finish his stint with the Spurs? Bonner out shot him in the last two games handily. Where's this Tolliver shooting we've been reading about?

He isn't used to playing in an arena I guess. Maybe he is more of a small gym shooter.

The thing is Tolliver is probably a good shooter and is hitting everything in practice, but that's no good to us. He has to do it in games where there is more pressure. Can he do it? Is he just in a slump?

ouch. I feel bad for Tolliver. He needs to get pissed off and start hitting some shots. Matt Bonner stole his jump shot .

Farmer is has been outgunning everyone so far. That's what I think of him. Inlcuding Pop's love child Tolliver.

I have one question on Tolliver - Can he guard someone like David West? Dirk? Maybe that's why Pop is looking at keeping him? Maybe he thinks his shooting will come around?

Can we afford to have guys like Finley go 2-10, Tolliver 2-10, Stoudamire 3-10 in the same game. maybe Pop shouldn't tell these guys to keep jacking up shots?

Bonner was the most pleasing aspect for me. He shouldnt be on the team, but since he will be, i may aswel say somethin good about him.

Its the first time he has put together two good games in a row, i dont care if its pre season. Food has to be broken down before it can come out as a piece of .

Definately good to see Mason hitting shots, also had 2 assists in under 20 minutes. The rebounding remains a problem, the entire team needs to rebound, especially considering Bowen doesnt rebound the ball either.

    Final: Spurs 106, Pacers 98

    FOURTH QUARTER

Tony Parker and Salim Stoudamire split time at point guard and combined for 12 assists in the Spurs' 106-98 preseason victory over the Indiana Pacers.

Parker sat out the fourth quarter. He played just under half the game and recorded 19 points, on 9-of-14 shooting, and eight assists.

Stoudamire, in his first action of the preseason, played 20 minutes and had eight points and four assists.

Roger Mason Jr. took a turn playing point guard in the fourth quarter. He hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 points.

Matt Bonner started and had 15 points and five rebounds.

Tim Duncan sat out the game. In the fourth quarter he joined in the coaches huddle during a timeout. Jacque Vaughn also had the night off.

    THIRD QUARTER

Stoudamire continues to get a lot of playing time at point guard for the Spurs, Bonner is up to 10 points and the Spurs finished the third quarter with an 84-75 lead.

Finley hit back-to-back 3-pointers to open the second half. Mason scored eight points in the first six minutes of the second half and the Spurs took an 80-63 lead.

    SECOND QUARTER

Desmon Farmer scored eight points in the last three minutes of the half and the Spurs took a 61-49 halftime lead. Farmer hit back-to-back 3-pointers.

Bonner, who piled up 15 points on Thursday, hit a 3-pointer right after entering the game. He had eight points in the half. Tony Parker led the Spurs with 16 points.

Anthony Tolliver got into the scoring action. He turned a steal into a basket and hit a jumper for four points early in the second quarter. The Spurs lead 39-27.

    FIRST QUARTER

Parker had 12 points and three assists in the first quarter and Stoudamire saw his first action of the preseason. The Spurs finished the quarter with a 30-21 lead.

Stoudamire entered the game with a little more than three minutes left in the quarter. He replace Parker at point guard.

Tolliver, Ime Udoka and Fabricio Oberto entered the game off the Spurs bench midway through the first quarter. Udoka and Oberto each hit their first shot and were part of a 12-0 Spurs run.

Parker got off to a fast start with six points and two assists in the first six minutes of the game. Kurt Thomas hit back-to-back jumpers and the Spurs took a 17-16 lead.

    PREGAME

Spurs starters: Tony Parker, Michael Finley, Bruce Bowen, Matt Bonner and Kurt Thomas. Tim Duncan and Jacque Vaughn are sitting on the bench wearing a jacket tonight.

George Hill hit the court about 45 minutes before game time with a brace on his left hand. He missed the last game with a sprained thumb. He is not using his left hand at all.
