Great comeback win by Washington @ Pittsburgh: Pens were up 3-0, Caps won 4-3
I know!! I had the same thought. What a game. Caps looking pretty good early in the season.

Yup
And Perron and Karya are playing great hockey as well
TJ Oshie, Patrick Berglund, all of em are playing well.
This team has a damn good future and present![]()
Yes, as long as Perron keeps his head on his shoulders.
If I remember correctly, they had to straighten a few things out with him last season
wooo 5 goals in the 3rd period last night leafs are 5-3-3 now who would have thunk

Damn Habs dominating the storyline. Deservedly so, though.
But what about my resurgent Blackhawks? Haha.
Seriously, I think we can compete in the West this year.
Hawks are gonna be very good: Havlat, Toews, Kane, Huet; good stuff
Although I don't know why they fired Denis Savard.
By the way, former Hawk Robert Lang is doing well this season in Montreal
Wednesday, November 26.
Canadiens @ Red Wings
![]()
Yay
We won 3-1
Grats Lefty. I dont know why the Wings decided to play their worst game of the season against the Habs, but they did.
Credit the Habs for taking it to them on their own ice.
To be fair, Red Wings were not at their best; plus, I think they came back from a long road trip, they looked tired outthere.
That's a bad game for Wings, and it happens sometimes, nothing wrong with that.
IMO, Red Wings are still the best team in the NHL
Damn, again

BOSTON -- Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron, who missed most of last season with a concussion, left Saturday's game against Carolina in the second period after a collision with the Hurricanes' Dennis Seidenberg.
Bergeron went down face-first on the ice after finishing a check on Seidenberg as he was dumping the puck into the Boston zone. Bergeron was down and attended to for several minutes before looking wobbly when he got to his skates and was helped to the locker room.
The injury appeared to be to Bergeron's head or neck.
"The doctors have been looking at it. They haven't given us any indication as far as the severity of it," Bruins coach Claude Julien said after his team finished off a 4-2 victory over the Hurricanes. "Obviously, he went down a little dazed. We're not able to give you a verdict. That's all I can tell you about that situation."
Asked if he thought Bergeron sustained another concussion, the coach said, "They haven't told me. We've asked and they haven't diagnosed it yet."
Julien said he spoke to Bergeron after the second period and added the player was alert.
"He got dinged pretty good," Julien said. "He was speaking to me and then I took off and coached the third period."
Bergeron's 2007-08 season ended after 10 games. He was hit from behind into the boards by Philadelphia's Randy Jones on Oct. 27, 2007, and missed the rest of the regular season and the playoffs with a concussion and accompanying problems.
He was close to returning in the postseason, but the Bruins were eliminated in seven games in the first round of the playoffs by the Montreal Canadiens.
Bergeron returned for training camp and had played in 30 of Boston's first 31 games before Saturday. He was playing well but was having trouble regaining his old scoring touch, scoring just four goals, one in his last 18 games before Saturday.
Bergeron's teammates clearly showed their concern after the game.
"Obviously, maybe a little more so because it's Bergy, but if any of your teammates are lying on the ground like that, all you're thinking is 'I hope he's alright,'" said Stephane Yelle. "When he got up and skated off on his own two feet, it was good to see."
Added goalie Manny Fernandez: "We know what's at stake and our prayers are with him, that's for sure. We hate to see a guy like that go down again."

BOSTON -- Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron, who missed most of last season with a concussion, was released from the hospital Sunday after being diagnosed with another concussion.
Bergeron
Bergeron spent the night at Massachusetts General Hospital and underwent extensive testing, Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli said in a statement. Bergeron was placed on injured reserve, meaning he is out of action for a minimum of one week.
"When examined this morning, his condition had improved greatly over last night, and he was released from the hospital," the statement said. "There is no timetable for his return to the ice."
Bergeron was injured in Saturday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Bergeron collided near center ice with Carolina's Dennis Seidenberg and went to the ice, face-first. He remained down for several minutes while he was cared for by doctors and looked wobbly when he got to his skates and was helped to the locker room.
"He got dinged pretty good," said Bruins coach Claude Julien, who spoke to Bergeron after the second period. "He was speaking to me and then I took off and coached the third period."
Bergeron's 2007-08 season ended after 10 games following a hit from behind into the boards by Philadelphia's Randy Jones. He was close to returning during the playoffs, but the Bruins were eliminated in seven games in the first round by the Montreal Canadiens.
Bergeron returned for training camp and played in 30 of Boston's first 31 games. But he had yet to regain his scoring touch, totaling four goals -- one in his last 19 games.
His teammates went to St. Louis to play the Blues on Sunday night, but their thoughts were with Bergeron.
"We know what's at stake and our prayers are with him, that's for sure," goalie Manny Fernandez said Saturday. "We hate to see a guy like that go down again."

Habs winning 5-3 at MSG
Former Red Wing Robert Lang with a hat trick
15G, 15A already this season for Lang, what a pickup by Gainey !!!!!!!!!!![]()
I forgot all about Lang didnt even notice he was gone
Lang left Detroit for Chicago, then he signed with Montreal as a free agent last summer.
30 pts at this point of the season, not bad for a 38 year old (who was never fast to begin with)
I still can't believe Ovechkin will not be a starter for the East team
Speaking of which, why did the league have to switch from the North America vs. the World format? That was better imho
